Les Hétérotopies

Concept théorisé par le philosophe Michel Foucault en 1967. Il définit les hétérotopies comme des espaces réels abritant des utopies, des lieux concrets qui hébergent l’imaginaire.

Raymond Seignon s'est inspiré de ce concept pour ce projet.

Ces images faites à partir d'architectures et d'espaces existants, nous amènent dans une ambiance futuriste, frôlant l’univers de l’irréel, du rêve et de l’imaginaire. On y voit des personnes se situant dans un paysage dépeuplé et souvent démesurément plus grand qu’eux même, nous faisant ressentir un sentiment de solitude et une légère agoraphobie.

Ce projet a permis à Raymond Seignon de remporté le Prix Excellence de sa cohorte au C.F.P Lachine, son école de photographie. Ce prix souligne le professionnalisme, la qualité du portfolio et la qualité du projet personnel de fin de formation.

Heterotopias

 Concept theorized by philosopher Michel Foucault in 1967. He defines heterotopias as real spaces housing an utopia, concrete places that host the imaginary.

  Raymond Seignon, was inspired by this concept to create this project.

These images made from existing architectures and spaces, take us into a futuristic atmosphere, bordering the land of the unreal, the dream and the imaginary. The pictures, showing people in a depopulated landscape and often disproportionately larger than themselves, make us feel a sense of solitude and a slight agoraphobia.

    This project helped Raymond to win the Prix excellence of his cohort at the CFP Lachine, his school of photography.

This award shows the professionalism, the quality of the portfolio and the quality of the final project.
